Cationic Phosphino Beryllium Scorpionates and their Reactivity as Lewis Acid–Base Pairs

open access: yesChemistryEurope, EarlyView.
Monocationic tris(pyrazolyl)borate beryllium phosphine complexes are synthesized and characterized. These compounds readily react with substrates like CO2, SO2, H2, O2, S8, and Se8. Therefore, the nature of the BeP bond is also analyzed computationally. Herein, the article describes a facile and modular access to cationic beryllium phosphine complexes

Precision‐Engineered Nanocatalysts Via Lattice Tailoring and d‐Band Center Modulation for High‐Performance Lithium‐Sulfur Batteries

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
Benefiting from the dual‐defect engineering of P doping and oxygen vacancies, P‐Ov‐TiO2 catalysts with exposed {101} crystal facets possess optimized lattice structure and d‐band center. The synergistic effect accelerated the charge transfer and the long‐ and short‐chain LiPSs conversion kinetics.

Efficient and Rapid Arylation of NH₂‐Unprotected Bromobisindole Ethanamines via Suzuki‐Miyaura Coupling: Generating New Leads Against Leishmania

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
A library of novel bisindole derivatives was synthesized through an optimized rapid Suzuki‐Miyaura coupling reaction, utilizing NH2‐unprotected bromobisindole ethanamines and boronic acids with yields up to 93%. The compounds were screened for their activity against L. infantum promastigotes.

The Ascent of Supramolecular Polymers and Gels in Asymmetric Catalysis

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
SPs and gels emerged as modular platforms for asymmetric catalysis. This review ranks literature reports according to the achiral or chiral nature of the monomers bearing the catalytic site. New paradigms showcased by this approach are particularly highlighted, such as catalysts operating with a low amount of chiral inducers, or with no chiral inducer,
