Development of phosphine oxide and arsine oxide organocatalysis
In the field of organic chemistry, phosphine oxides and arsine oxides have generally been viewed as undesirable nuisances since their major origin is the reaction by-products or result from undesired oxidation of a phosphine or arsine catalyst or ligand.

3D Printed Omniphobic Slippery Liquid Infused Porous Surfaces for Low Surface Tension Repellency
A 3D printing strategy fabricates omniphobic slippery liquid‐infused porous structures with lubricant reservoirs and interconnected microchannels. A post‐printing surface treatment modifies the porous surface to ensure compatibility with the infused fluorinated lubricant.

Enantioselective Coupling of Dienes and Phosphine Oxides [PDF]
We report a Pd-catalyzed intermolecular hydrophosphinylation of 1,3-dienes to afford chiral allylic phosphine oxides. Commodity dienes and air stable phosphine oxides couple to generate organophosphorus building blocks with high enantio- and regiocontrol. This method constitutes the first asymmetric hydrophosphinylation of dienes.

Four donor–acceptor boron difluoride complexes based on triphenylamine donor and a naphthyridine acceptor units were synthesized, studied, and applied as OLED emitters. They exhibit pronounced intramolecular charge transfer character, balanced charge transport properties, and tunable emission. Near‐unity PLQYs are achieved for selected compounds, while

Zinc Exposure Causes Disulfidptosis to Induce Miscarriage by Up‐Regulating GATA1/METTL1/SLC7A11 Axis
Zn exposure up‐regulates GATA1, promoting GATA1‐mediated METTL1 and SLC7A11 transcription. It also enhances METTL1‐mediated m7G modification on SLC7A11 mRNA, increasing SLC7A11 mRNA stability. Ultimately, Zn exposure up‐regulates SLC7A11 at both transcriptional and post‐transcriptional levels, causing disulfidptosis. Knockdown of murine Slc7a11, Gata1,

The functionalisation of wool by tris(hydroxymethyl)phosphine for metal ion recovery
Tris(hydroxymethyl)phosphine (THP) was prepared by the addition of a stoichiometric amount of base to tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium chloride (THPC).

Evaluation of bifunctional chiral phosphine oxide catalysts for the asymmetric hydrosilylation of ketimines [PDF]
A series of bifunctional phosphine oxides have been prepared and evaluated as catalysts for the trichlorosilane mediated asymmetric hydrosilylation of ketimines. bis-Phosphine oxides, hydroxy-phosphine oxides, and biaryl phosphine oxides all demonstrated

Monoclonal antibodies are powerful anticancer therapeutics targeting tumor‐associated antigens. Mass spectrometry enables precise and accurate quantification of mAbs in tumor plasma and healthy organs. Unlike ligand binding assay and radioactivity, mass spectrometry does not suffer from matrix effects and labelling artefacts while facilitating method ...

Recent trends in bonding and structure of metal derivatives of phosphine chalcogenides
In this review, the bonding and structures of coordination compounds of phosphine chalcogenides (P = E, E = O, S, Se, Te) with several transition and non-transition elements, reported during the period from 1990 to 2023, are described.
