Owing to the margination effect, rod‐shaped nanoparticles exhibit markedly enhanced co‐localization with endothelial‐adherent platelets (PLTs) under dynamic blood flow. When internalized by PLTs, rod‐shaped PNR@Res inhibit FAK and PI3K/AKT signaling in a morphology‐dependent manner, thereby disrupting their pathological crosstalk with various ...

Signaling through non-membrane nuclear phosphoinositide binding proteins in human health and disease
Phosphoinositide membrane signaling is critical for normal physiology, playing well-known roles in diverse human pathologies. The basic mechanisms governing phosphoinositide signaling within the nucleus, however, have remained deeply enigmatic owing to ...

A mechanically tunable ECM platform is created by integrating dECM–alginate matrices with in‐bath tumor printing. The mechanically tunable ECM environment drives tumors to acquire hypoxia, mechanotransduction signaling, metastatic traits, and drug‐resistant phenotypes that collectively promote malignant transformation.

Basal phosphoinositide-dependent phospholipase C (PI-PLC) activity controls gene expression in Arabidopsis suspension cells and seedlings. PI-PLC catalyzes the production of phosphorylated inositol and diacylglycerol (DAG) from phosphoinositides.

This study identifies ferritin as a pivotal mediator of silica‐induced pulmonary fibrosis. Macrophage‐derived ferritin drives fibroblast‐to‐myofibroblast differentiation via the PIK3R2/SMAD pathway, while ferritin knockdown alleviates fibrosis. These findings define ferritin as both a biomarker and pathogenic driver, highlighting ferritin‐PIK3R2 ...

An HPLC procedure for separating polyphosphoinositides on hydroxylapatite.
We describe a method for separation of several phosphoinositides by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) for the purposes of identification, analysis, and possible purification of cell phospholipid extracts.

Roles for Ca2+ mobilization and its regulation in mast cell functions: recent progress [PDF]
Ca(2+)mobilization in response to cross-linking of IgE bound to its high affinity receptor, FcεRI, on mast cells is central to immune allergic responses.

Cellular Identity Crisis: RD3 Loss Fuels Plasticity and Immune Silence in Progressive Neuroblastoma
Researchers discovered that therapy‐induced loss of RD3 protein in neuroblastoma triggers a dangerous shift: cancer cells become more stem‐like, invasive, and resistant to treatment while evading immune detection. RD3 loss suppresses antigen presentation and boosts immune checkpoints, creating an immune‐silent environment.
