A pH/MMP dual‐responsive Bifidobacterium longum (BL) hydrogel (INPs@BL@Gel) functionalized with baicalin, tyrosine, and inulin is constructed. It enables gastric protection, inflammation‐targeted release, and prolonged intestinal colonization. By remodeling gut microbiota, elevating beneficial neuroactive metabolites (homovanillic acid, short‐chain ...

Biodegradability of chlorophenol wastewater enhanced by solar photo-Fenton process
The combination of solar irradiation and Fenton reagent have been used to enhance the biodegradability (BOD5/COD) of chlorophenol wastewater, including 2-chlorophenol (2-CP), 4-chlorophenol (4-CP), and 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP). Results showed that the solar photo-Fenton process improved significantly the biodegradability of chlorophenol wastewater.

Exploiting a dosage model to enhance Photo-Fenton process performance [PDF]
The performance of Photo-Fenton treatments is reported to heavily rely on how hydrogen peroxide is supplied. Rigorously optimizing the dosage profile of hydrogen profile is a challenge that has been hardly addressed.

An integrated probiotic system is engineered to execute a programmed therapeutic cascade against inflammatory bowel disease. Upon pathological signals, the system sequentially performs ROS scavenging, tungsten release, and selective pathogen suppression, thereby breaking the oxidative stress–dysbiosis cycle to remodel gut microbiota and reinforce ...

Deployment of fenton and photo-fenton processes for the treatment of municipal and industrial wastewater [PDF]
Effective wastewater treatment is a key aspect in safeguarding a healthy aqueous environment, however many treatment technologies have limitations of either cost or generation of additional waste, which ends up further polluting the environment.
