Photo-Fenton Process over an Fe-Free 3%-CuO/Sr0.76Ce0.16WO4 Photocatalyst under Simulated Sunlight
Photo-Fenton is a promising photocatalytic technology that utilizes sunlight. Herein, an Fe-free 3%-CuO/Sr0.76Ce0.16WO4 photocatalyst was synthesized to apply simulated wastewater degradation via a photo-Fenton process under simulated sunlight.

An immunoregulatory hydrogel based on sodium ascorbate (SA)‐accelerated gelation and in situ self‐mineralization is prepared here. Such a hydrogel is constructed by mixing benzaldehyde‐ and cyanoacetate‐functionalized dextran with silver nitrate (AgNO3) and SA, enabling the ultrafast solidification and in situ self‐mineralization of silver ...

A sprayable near‐infrared‐activated nanoplatform incorporating MXene, ZnHCF nanozyme, and deferoxamine efficiently breaks the vicious cycle of diabetic wounds. Upon irradiation, interfacial electron transfer and photothermal effects enhance multi‐enzyme activity, enabling explosive ROS elimination, alleviation of hypoxia, and controlled DFO release ...

Degradation of 1,4-Dioxane by Photo-Fenton Processes
1,4-Dioxane is an EPA priority pollutant found in contaminated groundwater and industrial effluents. The common treatment techniques are not effective for 1,4-dioxane degradation. Thus there is a need to find an efficient degradation method such as a photo-Fenton process and understand the degradation mechanism of 1,4-dioxane during such reactions.

Treatment of simulated refinery based sulfidic spent caustic using photo-fenton oxidation [PDF]
Sulfidic spent caustic is the spent solution produced as a result of scrubbing process in a refinery operation. The hazardous and toxicity nature of sulfidic spent caustic indicated that this waste must be thoroughly treated before being dumped into the ...

Improving photo-Fenton process by hydrogen peroxide dosage strategies. Dissolved oxygen performance indicator [PDF]
Fenton and photo-Fenton are Advanced Oxidation processes driven by the supply of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). However, excessive hydrogen peroxide supply results in unproductive reactions and causes the process performance to decay.

An interfacial proton‐relay microenvironment at MoS2‐CuCl heterostructures enables selective O2 activation to 1O2 under neutral conditions. Electron‐deficient sulfur sites mediate proton transfer to Cu‐bound O2, accelerating *OOH hydrogenation while suppressing O─O bond cleavage, achieving stable, efficient pollutant removal.

Applied Photo‐Fenton Processes on Sludge Disintegration
The disintegration of waste active sludge was investigated by photo-Fenton processes. A batch study was conducted to evaluate parameters, such as Fe2+ and Fe0 ions and H2O2, governing the activated sludge integration by the photo-Fenton process.
