Blue radiation stimulates photosynthetic induction in Fagus sylvatica L.
This study was designed to test the hypothesis that the spectral composition of incident radiation, as defined by the relative proportions of blue (B; λmax = 455 nm) and red (R; λmax = 625 nm) photons, can affect photosynthetic induction, since B photons stimulate stomatal opening and are more effectively absorbed by leaves than R photons.

Effect of Cameraria ohridella feeding on Aesculus hippocastanum photosynthesis
The complex of invasive species of phytophagous insects that can adapt to novel living conditions is constantly increasing. The ecological effect of their vital activity in the new environment is almost impossible to predict.

C4 monocots and C4 dicots exhibit rapid photosynthetic induction response in contrast to C3 plants.
Considering the prevalence of ever-changing conditions in the natural world, investigation of photosynthetic responses in C4 plants under fluctuating light is needed. Here, we studied the effect of dynamic illumination on photosynthesis in totally 10 C3,

Induction of the photosynthetic membranes of Rhodopseudomonas sphaeroides: biochemical and morphological studies [PDF]
Cells of Rhodopseudomonas sphaeroides grown in a 25% O2 atmosphere were rapidly subjected to total anaerobiosis in the presence of light to study the progression of events associated with the de novo synthesis of the inducible intracytoplasmic membrane (ICM).
