Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Some Dipeptide Derivatives and Their Heterocyclic Compounds

open access: yesScience Journal of University of Zakho, 2015
The protected dipeptide esters (3a-e, 4a-l) is prepared by the reaction of compounds (1a-e, 2a-d) with dicyclohexylcarbodiamide (as coupling reagent) and amino acid esters .Thereafter hydrazides (5a-e, 6a-j) are obtained by the reaction of corresponding ...

Transition Metal‐Free Ortho‐Deuteration of Electron‐Deficient N‐Heteroarenes

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 28, Issue 42, November 20, 2025.
Herin, the metal‐free, selective deuteration of electron‐deficient N‐heteroaromatics is reported using O‐carbamate and carboxamide ortho‐directing groups (DGs), lithium 2,2,6,6‐tetramethylpiperidide as the base, and D2O as a green source of D+. The substrate scope includes 10 small molecule N‐heteroaromatic compounds and two pharmaceutically relevant ...

Synthetic Study of para-Substituted 5,6-Fused Ring Pyridazines [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Much of the focus in organic chemistry today is in area of green chemistry. With such large amounts of attention being paid to how do we create a more sustainable world, the focus has been to come up with new ways to not only create energy but to ...

In Pursuit of Low Energy Phosphorescence: Late Metal Coordination Complexes of the Planar, π‐extended Bipyridyl Ligand 6,6′,7,7′‐Biphenanthridine

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 31, Issue 63, November 12, 2025.
Abstract The coordination chemistry of the planar, doubly π‐extended bipyridine analog, 6,6′,7,7′‐biphenanthridine (p‐biphe), is presented. The phenanthridine units in p‐biphe are fused together at the 6‐ and 7‐ positions, and the resulting rigid ligand is compared with the more flexible parent “biphe” fused only at the 6‐positions.

Chemistry - ACS Certification [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Heterocyclic organic and organometallic compounds (e.g. polypyrrole, Figure 1A) and their derivatives have been of great interest for conductive polymers due to their novel properties, such as their versatile structure and ease of synthesis. In addition,

Applications of QSPR and Machine Learning in Molecular Photonics

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 13, Issue 33, November 25, 2025.
Quantitative structureproperty relationships (QSPR) and machine learning (ML) are transforming photochemistry by enabling pre‐synthetic screening of photoactive molecules. This review outlines advances in data‐driven discovery of optical materials and functional dyes, identifies effective descriptors and models for photophysical processes, and provides

Phthalazin-1(2H)-one [PDF]

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E Structure Reports Online, 2007
The molecule of the title compound, C8H6N2O, is almost planar, with a dihedral angle of 0.52 (7)° between the two rings. In the crystal structure, intermolecular N—H⋯O, C—H⋯N and C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds and π–π interactions link the molecules into a three-dimensional network. The π–π interaction occurs between the pyridazinone and benzene rings of the

Diazine Endo‐Functionalized Tetraphenylethylene‐Based Cyclo[6]arenes for Molecular Recognition in Both Solution and Aggregate States

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 6, Issue 11, November 2025.
To overcome poor molecular recognition in dilute solutions of tetraphenylethylene‐embedded cyclo[6]arenes, three macrocycles with functionalized cavities featuring diazine groups as endo‐binding sites are synthesized. Their recognition affinity continuously improves with increasing hydrogen‐bond acceptance of diazine groups.

Synthesis of Rhenium and Manganese Pyridazoal Complexes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Pyridazines are a heterocyclic aromatic compound containing a characteristic N-N bond that are utilized in many fields, including medicine and electronics. It is this latter field that Dr. Snyder\u27s research group is focused upon.

Flash-Spectroscopic Study of Phthalazine [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the Chemical Society of Japan, 1974
Abstract The phthalazine triplet and the hydrogen-abstracted radical were obtained in ethanol etc. at room temperature, suggesting that the T1 is of nπ* type, whereas only the T–T absorption spectrum was obtained in acidic ethanol as reported in EPA glass at 77 K.
