Screening for Gynecologic Conditions With Pelvic Examination US Preventive Services Task Force Recommendation Statement [PDF]
IMPORTANCE Many conditions that can affect women\u27s health are often evaluated through pelvic examination. Although the pelvic examination is a common part of the physical examination, it is unclear whether performing screening pelvic examinations in ...

Convivial Solipsism as a maximally perspectival interpretation [PDF]
A classification of different interpretations of the quantum formalism is examined and the concept of perspectival interpretation is presented. A perspectival interpretation implies that the truth is relative to the observer. The degree to which QBism and Convivial Solipsism are perspectival is examined and Convivial Solipsim is shown to be ...

Large multidimensional digital images of cancer tissue are becoming prolific, but many challenges exist to automatically extract relevant information from them using computational tools. We describe publicly available resources that have been developed jointly by expert and non‐expert computational biologists working together during a virtual hackathon

A Re-examination of Quenches in $^{4}$He [PDF]
In the light of recent difficulties in observing vortices in quenches of liquid $^{4}$He to its superfluid state we re-examine the Zurek scenario for their production. We find that the standard prediction is suspect because of a confusion over correlation lengths.

Cancer stem cells are associated with aggressive disease, but a deep characterization of such markers is lacking in endometrial cancer. This study uses imaging mass cytometry to explore putative cancer stem cell markers in endometrial tumors and corresponding organoid models.

Parameter estimation in Cox models with missing failure indicators and the OPPERA study [PDF]
In a prospective cohort study, examining all participants for incidence of the condition of interest may be prohibitively expensive. For example, the "gold standard" for diagnosing temporomandibular disorder (TMD) is a physical examination by a trained ...

The complex sine-Gordon model on a half line [PDF]
In this paper, we examine the complex sine-Gordon model in the presence of a boundary, and derive boundary conditions that preserve integrability. We present soliton and breather solutions, investigate the scattering of particles and solitons off the boundary and examine the existence of classical solutions corresponding to boundary bound states.
