Physicochemical Composition of Baked Garlic

open access: yesKorean Journal of Food Preservation, 2011
This study was conducted to investigate the major chemical components of dried baked garlic powder. The proximate compositions of baked garlic powder as a dry-matter basis were 5.30% moisture, 36.89% crude protein, 12.60% crude fat, 4.36% crude ash, 2.88% dietary tiber, and 37.97% carbohydrate, respectively.

Composition and physicochemical properties of oat starches [PDF]

open access: yesFood Research International, 1996
Starches from two new oat varieties namely AC Stewart (Avena sativa L.) and NO 753-2 (Avena nuda L.) were isolated and some of their characteristics determined. The total amount of starch lipids (TSL) extracted by acid hydrolysis was 1.60% (w/w) in both starches.

Physicochemical Composition of the Acanthopanax Chilsanensis [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Life Science, 2009
This study was conducted to investigate the physicochemical compositions in the root, stem and fruit of A. chilsanensis. The contents of crude fat were 2.09, 2.51 and 7.94%, and crude proteins were 11.50%, 7.18% and 10.17%, respectively. Crude ash levels were 11.07, 6.85 and 6.38%, respectively, and it was higher in root than stem or fruit.

The effect of the composition of polysorbate 80 grades on their physicochemical properties.

open access: yesInternational Journal of Pharmaceutical Excipients, 2021
Polysorbate 80 is one of the most commonly used surfactants in the formulation of biotherapeutics, particularly those administered intravenously. It comprises a mixture of fatty acids but is not a precisely defined chemical entity. Hence, there are a range of different grades available in the market, all meeting compendial specifications.

Effect of physicochemical aging conditions on the composite-composite repair bond strength.

open access: yesThe journal of adhesive dentistry, 2007
This study evaluated the effect of different physicochemical aging methods and surface conditioning techniques on the repair bond strength of composite. It was hypothesized that the aging conditions would decrease the repair bond strength and surface conditioning methods would perform similarly for the repair of resin composites.Disk-shaped resin ...
