Physicochemical properties of enrofloxacin

Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, 1997
The physicochemical properties of enrofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone that inhibits the activity of bacterial DNA gyrase, are described. Its spectral, solubility and related physicochemical characteristics are discussed. The dissociation behaviour of enrofloxacin was examined by UV spectrophotometry at 25 degrees C in a series of buffers ranging from pH 1 ...

Physicochemical properties of quinoa starch

Carbohydrate Polymers, 2016
Physicochemical properties of quinoa starches isolated from 26 commercial samples from a wide range of collection were studied. Swelling power (SP), water solubility index (WSI), amylose leaching (AML), enzyme susceptibility, pasting, thermal and textural properties were analyzed. Apparent amylose contents (AAM) ranged from 7.7 to 25.7%.

Physicochemical Properties of Dodecylammonium Picrate

Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 2000
A novel surfactant, dodecylammonium picrate (DDAP), was synthesized and its crystal structure was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. DDAP's physicochemical properties were examined by spectral (infrared and nuclear magnetic resonance), thermal, microscopic, and conductometric studies.

Soil Physicochemical Properties

2016
Soil is a complex matter and comprises minerals, soil organic matter, water, and air. These fractions greatly influence soil texture, structure, and porosity. These properties subsequently affect air and water movement in the soil layers, and thus the soil’s ability to function.

Aluminum chlorohydrate II: Physicochemical properties

Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1981
Determination of the chloride content of aluminum chlorohydrate by a chloride-selective indicated that gamma Cl leads to 1. IR analysis demonstrated that chloride was exchanged readily by nitrate and that the IR bands of the anion were not perturbed significantly. Thus, chloride is believed to act as a counterion.

Physicochemical properties of 2′-benzoyloxycinnamaldehyde

International Journal of Pharmaceutics, 2004
2'-Benzoyloxycinnamaldehyde (BCA), a derivative of 2-hydroxycinnamaldehyde demonstrated a potent antitumor effect against several human solid tumor cell lines. The physicochemical properties and degradation kinetics of BCA were investigated to support the drug-development effort.

Physicochemical properties of maca starch

Food Chemistry, 2017
Maca (Lepidium meyenii Walpers) is gaining research attention due to its unique bioactive properties. Starch is a major component of maca roots, thus representing a novel starch source. In this study, the properties of three maca starches (yellow, purple and black) were compared with commercially maize, cassava, and potato starches.

Physicochemical Properties of Pyocin F1

The Journal of Biochemistry, 1979
The physiochemical properties of pyocin F1 were studied. Pyocin F1 consists of flexuous rod-like particles homogenous in size. Each particle was composed of rod and fiber parts. The rod part was 105.5 +/- 9.5 nm long and 10.0 +/- 1.4 nm wide, and showed regular striations amounting to 23 layers.

The physicochemical properties of digoxin

Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, 1985
In a study of variations in the physicochemical properties of digoxin powder from several commercial sources, recrystallizations of digoxin were performed under several conditions. Polymorphs were not obtained whereas a pure amorphous form was formed under certain conditions.
