Phytoecdysteroids from Atriplex nummularia

Fìtoterapìâ, 2000
A bioassay for ecdysteroid agonists/antagonists and ecdysteroid-specific radioimmunoassays, together with a photo-diode-array detector-monitored high-performance liquid chromatography, have been used to analyse a methanol extract of the seeds of Atriplex nummularia. This yielded two phytoecdysteroids, 20-hydroxyecdysone (1) and polypodine B (2).

Phytoecdysteroids of Caryophyllaceae Juss.

Contemporary Problems of Ecology, 2009
Distribution of phytoecdysteroids is analyzed in the family Caryophyllaceae, which includes a large number of ecdysteroid-containing species. Species of this family synthesize a wide variety of steroid compounds, insect molting and metamorphosis hormones, many of which are not found in other plants.

Phytoecdysteroids from the rhizomes of Brainea insignis

Phytochemistry, 2010
Phytoecdysteroid glucosides, brainesterosides A-E, were isolated from the rhizomes of Brainea insignis along with three known phytoecdysteroids, ponasteroside A, ponasterone A, and 20-hydroxyecdysone. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic and chemical means. A possible biogenetic pathway is postulated for these compounds.

Phytoecdysteroids from Dianthus superbus L.: Structures and anti-neuroinflammatory evaluation.

Phytochemistry, 2023
Six undescribed C27-phytoecdysteroid derivatives, named superecdysones A-F, and ten known analogs were extracted from the whole plant of Dianthus superbus L. Their structures were identified by extensive spectroscopy, mass spectrometric methods, chemical

Isolation, structural elucidation of new phytoecdysteroids from Ajuga decumbens Thunb

Steroids, 2022
Five new phytoecdysteroids (1, 2, 3, 4, and 5) were isolated from Ajuga decumbens Thunb. planted at Pingtan island of Fujian Province. Their structures were elucidated by NMR(1HNMR, 13CNMR, DEPT, HMBC, HSQC, 1H-1H COSY, ROESY), and HRESIMS.
