Comparison of optical spectra recorded during DPF-1000U plasma experiments with gas-puffing

open access: yesNukleonika, 2015
The results are presented of the optical spectra measurements for free plasma streams generated with the use of the modified DPF-1000U machine. This facility was recently equipped with a gas injection system (the so-called gas-puff) placed on the ...

A Lumped Parameter Model of Plasma Focus

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Plasma Science, 2004
In this paper, a fast running computer model of a plasma focus device is presented. The model is based on the snowplow model constructed with effective parameters validated against experimental results. A pinch model is included to calculate the temporal evolution of the focal variables.

Sustained Therapeutic Efficacy of Intravenous Plasminogen Concentrate in Pediatric Patients With Type 1 Plasminogen Deficiency: An Analysis of Dosing Parameters and Clinical Outcomes

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Type 1 plasminogen deficiency (PLGD‐1) is an ultra‐rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by variants in the PLG gene and affects approximately 1.6 individuals per million. The condition is characterized by decreased plasminogen levels and impaired function, resulting in fibrin‐rich lesions on mucous membranes throughout the body.
