Advances in Magnesium‐Based Thermoelectrics: A Critical Review
Magnesium‐based thermoelectric materials have emerged as promising candidates for low‐to‐mid‐temperature energy conversion due to their abundance, low cost, and competitive performance. This review summarizes recent advances in Mg3X2, MgAgSb, and Mg2X systems, covering transport mechanisms, fabrication strategies, stability challenges, and device ...

MAVEN observation of magnetosonic waves in the Martian magnetotail region
Magnetosonic waves are an important medium for energy transfer in collisionless space plasma. Magnetosonic waves have been widely investigated in the upstream of the bow shock at Mars.

An orbital‐hybridizable nanoseed (OHNS) interphase induces strong orbital hybridization between Zn and carbon edges, accelerating Zn nucleation while suppressing 2D surface diffusion. This interfacial electronic regulation drives uniform, dense, and (002)‐oriented Zn growth, enabling stable and fast charging behavior in anode‐free aqueous Zn batteries.

A theoretical and computational study of the ion beam explosive instability [PDF]
This thesis contains an account of a theoretical study of the nonlinear interaction of three waves in a plasma. Kinetic equations are derived, which describe the interaction for a plasma obeying the fluid equations of magnetohydrodynamics, and for a ...

Super‐Resolution Ultrasound Based Cell Tracking With Polymeric Nanobubbles
This study presents a super‐resolution ultrasound platform for tracking cells in vivo. Biocompatible polymeric nanobubbles are used as highly echogenic intracellular labels. Following the injection of cells and microbubbles, ultrasound localization microscopy (ULM) can dynamically match the microvascular architecture and individual cell trajectories ...

Large amplitude solitary magnetized plasma waves
Waves launched into a magnetized plasma when it is rapidly compressed were studied in the late 1950s by Adlam and Allen. In this paper we show that the equations describing large amplitude magnetized plasma waves, or Adlam–Allen waves, can be reduced to ...

Near‐Unity Chiral Lasing Enabled by Quasi‐Bound States in the Continuum
Nanoimprinted chiral array that supports bound states in the continuum is doped with an efficient non‐chiral molecule (Rhodamine‐B) acting as gain medium to produce fully circularly polarized lasing emission. The chiral lasing wavelength can be tuned across the emission band of Rhodamine‐B by adjusting the coating thickness of the TiO2 high refractive ...

Experimental Demonstration of Superradiant Amplification of Ultra-Short Laser Pulses in a Plasma
A novel amplifications scheme for 20-30-fs laser pulses has been demonstrated. The signal pulses are amplified in a plasma by few picosecond long, counterpropagating pump pulses.

Engineering CO2 Reduction Pathways via Alloy‐Support Interactions in Li‐CO2 Batteries
Alloy‐support interactions in RuCu/NC induce interfacial charge redistribution and shift d‐band centers, steering CO2 reduction from Li2CO3 to metastable Li2C2O4. This pathway engineering lowers the rate‐determining barrier and suppresses carbonate formation, enabling high discharge voltage (3.23 V) in Li‐CO2 batteries with reduced overpotential (0.50 ...
