KAT7‐acetylated and cytoplasm‐translocated G‐protein GαS enhances IL‐6 effect and drives HCC progenitor cell progression. Abstract Background and Aims Hepatocarcinogenesis goes through HCC progenitor cells (HcPCs) to fully established HCC, and the mechanisms driving the development of HcPCs are still largely unknown.

Plasminogen influence on the PAI-1 release by human platelets [PDF]
РАІ-1 (plasminogen activator inhibitor type 1), as a major physiological inhibitor of tissue plasminogen activator and urokinase, plays a key role in the regulation of fibrinolysis in vivo.

HSP70 governs permeability and mechanotransduction in primary human endothelial cells
HSP70 chemical inhibition reduces endothelial cell proliferation and increases permeability, the latter supported by normal interendothelial junctional protein distribution. HSP70 also plays a role in shear stress response, a hemodynamic force naturally present in blood vessels and correlated with vessel protection.

The interaction of plasminogen, tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA) and urokinase with a clinical strain of Helicobacter pylori was studied. Plasminogen bound to the surface of H. pylori cells in a concentration-dependent manner and could be activated to

Functional Stability of Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor-1
Plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1) is the main inhibitor of plasminogen activators, such as tissue-type plasminogen activator (t-PA) and urokinase-type plasminogen activator (u-PA), and a major regulator of the fibrinolytic system.

Thrombolytic proteins profiling: High‐throughput activity, selectivity, and resistance assays
We present optimized biochemical protocols for evaluating thrombolytic proteins, enabling rapid and robust screening of enzymatic activity, inhibition resistance, and fibrin affinity, stimulation, and selectivity. The outcome translates to key clinical indicators such as biological half‐life and bleeding risk. These assays streamline the development of

Activation of Plasminogen by Staphylokinase [PDF]
SOME animal plasminogens, which are unaffected by streptokinase alone, are activated by streptokinase and human globulin. Mullertz1 has postulated the existence of a proactivator in human serum. Staphylokinase, without human globulin, activates a wider range of animal plasminogens2 and may, therefore, not require proactivator.
