Calibration of pressure-dependent sensitivity and discrimination in Nier-type noble gas ion sources [PDF]
The efficiency of many noble gas mass spectrometers to ionize gas species is known to be a function of the pressure of gas in the spectrometer. This work shows how the half plate voltage for maximum He or Ar signal depends on the spectrometer pressure ...

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Vulnerable Open Source Dependencies: Counting Those That Matter
BACKGROUND: Vulnerable dependencies are a known problem in today's open-source software ecosystems because OSS libraries are highly interconnected and developers do not always update their dependencies.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Adjustable securing base [PDF]
An adjustable securing base had a surface radius of curvature which was adjusted to support an adjacent part on the base surface. The securing base comprised of a flexible thin plate with an adjustment mechanism connected on opposite edges of the base ...

On boundary layer in the Mindlin plate model: Levy plates [PDF]
This work is related to the bending problem of thick rectangular Levy plates. Series solution for the Mindlin (thick) plate model is obtained and represented as a sum of the Kirchhoff (thin) plate model solution, the ``shear terms'' and the ``boundary ...
