Acute coronary syndromes, platelets and the endothelium [PDF]
Background: Acute coronary syndromes (ACS) are medical emergencies. Platelet and endothelial function are fundamental to the pathophysiology; and implicated in secondary conditions such as no reflow (NR).

The formation of stable clusters of gold nanoparticles with oligonucleotides at different solution conditions is explored. DNA base homogeneity and strand directionality influence the binding with gold nanoparticles leading to interesting clustering behavior that can be relevant for SERS applications.

This study explores single‐crystal organic field‐effect transistors (SC‐OFETs) based on 5,15‐bisaryl‐tetrabenzoporphyrin derivatives. It highlights the impact of meso‐substituted groups on molecular packing and charge transport. Among the derivatives, C8Ph‐BP achieves the highest hole mobility (1.64 cm2 V−¹ s−¹) due to enhanced π‐stacking with ...

Anticoagulant properties are critical for blood‐compatible materials, and anticoagulant coatings are a common key issue for blood‐contacting medical devices. In this study, a block copolymer poly(2‐methacrylenoxyethyl phosphocholine‐b‐glycidyl) (PMPC‐b‐GMA) is synthesized, using reversible addition‐fragmentation chain transfer polymerization (RAFT) and
