Zoo Biology, EarlyView.Enrichment aesthetic (natural vs non‐natural) does not impact visitor perceptions of chimpanzee behavior, conservation, or pet suitability. Most visitors associate chimpanzees with a conservation status of vulnerable, rather than endangered.
