A mismatch between community assembly and abundance‐based diversity indices
Long‐term ecological studies have consistently reported slower than expected changes in biodiversity over time. One explanation for this phenomenon is that commonly used diversity measurements such as species richness are too coarse to detect mechanisms shaping community assembly.

Rescue and rehabilitation of maned wolf (Chrysocyon brachyurus) in Paraguay: Case description
A juvenile female maned wolf was rescued, and health assessments were conducted to establish health status. These assessments included biometrics, blood and chemistry, serum antibodies, dermatology, ophthalmology, mouth assessment, X‐rays and ultrasound, orthopaedics and copro‐parasitology.
