Superhelix density heterogeneity in closed circular intracellular PM2 DNA
Biopolymers, 1974AbstractCovalently closed intracellular DNA obtained from Pseudomonas BAL 31 20 min after infection with PM2 phage has been shown to be heterogeneous in superhelix density. Analytical band sedimentation, in the presence of low concentrations of ethidium bromide, has been carried out on fractions centripetal and centrifugal to the mode of a single band ...

Reliability Growth Planning for a Military System Using PM2-Continuous Model
Journal of Applied Reliability, 2018Purpose: To develop the reliability growth planning for a subsystem of guided weapon system using PM2-Continuous model. Methods: The target MTBF of the subsystem is set by allocating the system target MTBF to the lower level, where ARINC method is ...

Properties of bacteriophage PM2: A lipid-containing bacterial virus
Virology, 1968Abstract Procedures are described for the isolation in pure form of the bacterial virus PM2. This virus isolated from seawater is shown to contain lipids by its sensitivity to ethyl ether and by chemical analysis of the purified virus. The virus has a buoyant density in CsCl of 1.28 g cm −3 and a sedimentation constant in 1 M NaCl of 230 S ; it ...

Molecular cloning and physical map of bacteriophage PM2 DNA
Gene, 1981Abstract The entire genome and the DNA fragments of the lipid-containing bacteriophage pM2 were cloned in the pBR322 plasmid vector. A physical map including the sites for the following restriction enzymes was obtained: HpaII, HaeIII, TthI, Sau96I, AvaII, PstI, BstNI, AccI, HincII, HpaI and HindIII. No restriction sites on PM2 DNA were found for BalI,

Operating Experience by Retrofitting PM2 Press Section

[Inactivation of bacteriophage PM2 during storage].
Molekuliarnaia genetika, mikrobiologiia i virusologiia, 1990The kinetics of bacteriophage inactivation in the medium that is optimal for its storage has been studied at temperatures from 4 to 55 degrees C. The plot of Arrhenius dependence of the constant of inactivation rate consists of the two linear parts with the energies of activation Ea = 25 kcal/mol for 4-37 degrees C and Ea = 91 kcal/mol for 37-55 ...
