Allele-specific PCR method based on pncA and oxyR sequences for distinguishing Mycobacterium bovis from Mycobacterium tuberculosis: intraspecific M. bovis pncA sequence polymorphism.

Journal of clinical microbiology, 1998
An allele-specific amplification method based on two genetic polymorphisms to differentiate Mycobacterium tuberculosis from Mycobacterium bovis was tested. Based on the differences found at position 169 in the pncA genes from M. tuberculosis and M. bovis, a PCR system which was able to differentiate most of the 237 M.

[Studies on pncA gene mutations in M. tuberculosis isolates].

Zhonghua jie he he hu xi za zhi = Zhonghua jiehe he huxi zazhi = Chinese journal of tuberculosis and respiratory diseases, 2002
To understand the mutations of pncA gene in M. tuberculosis isolates, and to evaluate their clinical value.Analyzing the pncA genes in 74 M. tuberculosis clinical isolates with PCR-SSCP and PCR-AS. M. tuberculosis strain H37Rv was used as control.32 drug-sensitive isolates all displayed normal pncA SSCP profile.

Mutation in pncA is a major mechanism of pyrazinamide resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis

Tubercle and Lung Disease, 1998
To characterize the correlation of the mutations in the pncA gene encoding pyrazinamidase (PZase) of Mycobacterium tuberculosis to a loss of PZase activity and development of pyrazinamide (PZA) resistance. The association of PZase activity, minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs), and mutations in the pncA gene of M.

Characterization of pncA mutations of pyrazinamide-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis in Turkey.

The new microbiologica, 2009
Mutations in the pyrazinamidase (PZase) gene (pncA) are considered the major mechanism of pyrazinamide (PZA) resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The aim of this study was designed to determine pncA mutations among ten PZA resistant and two PZA susceptible M.

Resistance to pyrazinamide in Russian Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolates: pncA sequencing versus Bactec MGIT 960

Tuberculosis, 2015
Resistance to pyrazinamide (PZA) may impact clinical outcome of anti-tuberculosis chemotherapy. PZA susceptibility testing using MGIT 960 is not reliable and little information is available on the prevalence of PZA resistance in Russia. A collection of 64 clinical isolates of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, including 35 multidrug resistant and extensively ...

Further Development of the PNCA: New Panel Noise Contribution Reference-Related (PNCAR)

SAE International Journal of Passenger Cars - Mechanical Systems, 2012
<div class="section abstract"><div class="htmlview paragraph">The Panel Noise Contribution Analysis (PNCA) is a well-known methodology for an airborne Transfer Path Analysis (TPA) in car interior. Pressure contribution from the individual panels at a reference point can be very accurately calculated.

Novel pncA Mutations in Pyrazinamide-Resistant Isolates of Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

Molecular diagnosis : a journal devoted to the understanding of human disease through the clinical application of molecular biology
The gene coding for pyrazinamidase (PZase) activity, pncA, in Mycobacterium tuberculosis was recently cloned, and several mutations which correlate with in vitro resistance to pyrazinamide (PZA) have been identified. During the development of a clinical molecular assay for the detection of PZA resistance, two previously unreported mutations in isolates
