Infection Complications in Pediatric Patients With Inborn Errors of Immunity After Umbilical Cord Blood Transplantation: A Chinese Single‐Center Study

open access: yesTransplant Infectious Disease, Volume 28, Issue 3, May/June 2026.
This study reveals that infections are highly prevalent in pediatric IEI patients after umbilical cord blood transplantation, with early‐stage infections and bloodstream infections strongly associated with poorer survival. These findings advocate for risk‐stratified surveillance and preemptive strategies in high‐risk subgroups.

Enfortumab vedotin plus pembrolizumab in treatment‐naïve metastatic urothelial carcinoma patients: An Austrian real‐world analysis

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 158, Issue 6, Page 1654-1665, 15 March 2026.
What's new? New antibody‐drug conjugates (ADCs) and immunotherapies have helped expand treatment options for urothelial carcinoma (UC). Clinical trials suggest that the ADC enfortumab vedotin (EV) and the immunotherapeutic agent pembrolizumab, when used in combination, are especially effective against UC.

Phenotypic and Genotypic Analyses of Antimicrobial Resistance Patterns of Staphylococcus aureus Isolates From Outpatient Blood Samples in Mukuru Slum, Nairobi, Kenya

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Infectious Diseases and Medical Microbiology, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Background Bloodstream infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and its methicillin‐resistant S. aureus (MRSA) represent a major clinical challenge, contributing to prolonged illness, increased healthcare costs, and high mortality worldwide.
