CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

Computing human optical point spread functions
There is renewed interest in the role of optics in human vision. At the same time there have been advances that allow for routine standardized measurement of the wavefront aberrations of the human eye. Computational methods have been developed to convert these measurements to a description of the human visual optical point spread function (PSF), and to

Point spread function models for digital holographic microscopy
Few models, based on the diffraction theory, are proposed in order to evaluate the point spread function of different microscope objectives used in a digital holographic microscope. Because in holography the phase information is essential, a 3D amplitude

Washburn extraction and width of the IUE point spread function [PDF]
The Washburn Extraction Routine for low dispersion IUE spectra was reviewed. The shape of the point spread function (PSF) in low dispersion spectra is sufficiently well described by a gaussian function.

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

Conserved binding mode but diverse interfaces of MreC‐PBP2 interactions
The crystal structure of abMreC reveals a conserved two β‐barrel architecture and provides structural insights into its role within the bacterial elongasome. The abMreC–abPBP2 complex model identifies the molecular basis of MreC‐mediated PBP2 recognition, contributing to the regulation of peptidoglycan synthesis.

Differencing and Coadding JWST Images with Matched Point-spread Function
We present an algorithm to derive difference images for data taken with JWST with matched point-spread functions (PSFs). It is based on the saccadic fast Fourier transform method but with revisions to accommodate the rotations and spatial variations of ...

Microbiome‐blood–brain barrier interactions in aging — mechanisms and therapeutic potential
Aging reshapes the gut microbiome (↓SCFA‐producing commensals; ↑pro‐inflammatory outputs), shifting circulating metabolites (↓SCFAs; ↑LPS, ↑TMAO, ↑PAA) that act at the BBB to increase nonspecific transcytosis, alter transport, and promote astrocyte reactivity, heightening brain vulnerability.
