The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Warm Arctic—cold continents: climate impacts of the newly open Arctic Sea
Recent Arctic changes are likely due to coupled Arctic amplification mechanisms with increased linkage between Arctic climate and sub-Arctic weather. Historically, sea ice grew rapidly in autumn, a strong negative radiative feedback.

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

The Polar Stratosphere as an Arbiter of the Projected Tropical Versus Polar Tug of War
This study explores the “tug of war” between the effects of Arctic amplification (“AA”) and upper‐troposphere tropical warming (“UTW”) on the response of the future North Atlantic atmospheric circulation.

We study the non linear amplification of VLF waves in the earth's magnetosphere. Particular attention is paid to zero order distribution functions of electrons in which there is a sharp step with respect to parallel velocity.

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Contrasting Anthropogenic Drivers Behind Asymmetric Warming in the Arctic and Antarctica
Surface air temperature (SAT) in polar regions is rising faster than the global average. This study analyzes the rapid increase in anthropogenic influences throughout the industrial period on Arctic and Antarctic warming, utilizing climate models.

ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.
