Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Herein, we report a visible-light-mediated palladium-catalyzed three-component radical-polar crossover carboamination of 1,3-dienes or allenes with diazo esters and amines, affording unsaturated γ- and ε-amino acid derivatives with diverse structures. In

Inequalities for the polar derivative of a polynomial
Let \(D_{\alpha}P(z)\) denote the polar differentiation of the polynomial \(P(z)\) of degree \(n\) with respect to the point \(\alpha\), i.e. \(D_{\alpha}P(z)=nP(z)+(\alpha -z)P'(z)\). In this paper several inequalities of Bernstein type for complex polynomials are generalized to the case of the polar differentiation.

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

On Bernstein and Turán-type integral mean estimates for polar derivative of a polynomial
Let p ( z ) $p(z)$ be a polynomial of degree n having no zero in | z | < k $|z|< k$ , k ≤ 1 $k\leq 1$ , then Govil [Proc. Nat. Acad. Sci., 50(1980), 50-52] proved max | z | = 1 | p ′ ( z ) | ≤ n 1 + k n max | z | = 1 | p ( z ) | , $$ \max _{|z|=1}|p'(z)|\

Enzymes of the 2‐hydroxyacyl‐CoA lyase group catalyze the condensation of formyl‐CoA with aldehydes or ketones. Thus, by structural adaptation of active sites, practically any pharmaceutically and industrially important 2‐hydroxyacid could be biotechnologically synthesized. Combining crystal structure analysis, active site mutations and kinetic assays,

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status
