Self-assembly and semiconductivity of an oligothiophene supergelator
A bis(trialkoxybenzamide)-functionalized quaterthiophene derivative was synthesized and its self-assembly properties in solution were studied. In non-polar solvents such as cyclohexane, this quaterthiophene π-system formed fibril aggregates with an H ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Application of M¨obius coordinate transformation in evaluating Newton’s integral
We propose a numerical scheme which efficiently combines various existing methods of solving the Newton’s volume integral. It utilises the analytical solution of Newton’s integral for tesseroid in computing the near-zone contribution to gravitational ...

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Lifting quasianalytic mappings over invariants
Let $\rho : G \to \operatorname{GL}(V)$ be a rational finite dimensional complex representation of a reductive linear algebraic group $G$, and let $\sigma_1,\sigma_n$ be a system of generators of the algebra of invariant polynomials $\mathbb{C}[V]^G$. We

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

INTEGRAL ANALOGUE OF TURÁN-TYPE INEQUALITIES CONCERNING THE POLAR DERIVATIVE OF A POLYNOMIAL
If \(w(\zeta)\) is a polynomial of degree $n$ with all its zeros in \(|\zeta|\leq \Delta, \Delta\geq 1\) and any real \(\gamma\geq 1\), Aziz proved the integral inequality [1] $$ \left\lbrace\int_{0}^{2\pi}\left|1+\Delta^ne^{i\theta}\right|^{\gamma}d ...
