Polarization mode dispersion in WDM systems
Optical and Quantum Electronics, 2002The coupled nonlinear Schrodinger equations for two wavelength optical pulses in a birefringence fiber are given. The model for treating polarization mode dispersion in two channel (WDM) system is established. Based on this model, optical signal propagation behaviors in two channel WDM with polarization mode dispersion are numerically simulated.

Polarization mode dispersion in a single mode fiber
