In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

$B \to \pi l\bar{\nu}$ Form Factors with NRQCD Heavy Quark and Clover Light Quark Actions [PDF]
We report results on semileptonic $B\to\pi l\bar{\nu}$ decay form factors near $q^2_{\rm max}$ using NRQCD heavy quark and clover light quark actions and currents improved through $O(\alpha a)$.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

The charge pion polarizability is calculated in the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model, where the quark loops (in the mean field approximation) and the meson loops (in the $1/N_c$ approximation) are taken into account.

The Quark Form Factor at Higher Orders [PDF]
We study the electromagnetic on-shell form factor of quarks in massless perturbative QCD. We derive the complete pole part in dimensional regularization at three loops, and extend the resummation of the form factor to the next-to-next-to-leading ...

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Is thyroid nodule location associated with malignancy risk? [PDF]
Purpose Nodules located in the upper pole of the thyroid may carry a greater risk for malignancy than those in the lower pole. We conducted a study to analyze the risk of malignancy of nodules depending on location.

Model-independent study of the QCD sum rule for the pi NN coupling constant
We reinvestigate the QCD sum rule for the pi NN coupling constant, g, starting from the vacuum-to-pion matrix element of the correlation function of the interpolating fields of two nucleons.
