Tuning Aggregation of Poly(3-hexylthiophene) within Nanoparticles
ACS Nano, 2012Nanoparticles derived from π-conjugated polymers have gained widespread attention as active layer materials in various organic electronics applications. The optoelectronic, charge transfer, and charge transport properties of π-conjugated polymers are intimately connected to the polymer aggregate structure.

Impurity-related effects in poly(3-hexylthiophene) crystals
Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys., 2014The performance of organic electronic devices often shows a strong dependence on the presence of impurities, for example oxygen and water molecules. Here we use first-principles calculations to examine oxygen- and water-related effects in poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT), one of the most widely used donors in organic photovoltaics.

Direct Synthesis of CdSe Nanoparticles in Poly(3-hexylthiophene)
Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2009A new approach was developed for the synthesis of nearly monodisperse CdSe nanoparticles directly in a polymer-containing solution in the absence of any other surface capping molecules. The comparatively high synthesis temperature reaction produces good quality crystalline CdSe nanoparticles.

Journal of Luminescence, 2015
Abstract The optical properties of poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT), in pristine form or with added anatase titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles have been investigated, and the interfacial charge transfer between P3HT and TiO2 have been studied by steady-state luminescence spectroscopy analysis. The photoluminescence results revealed that incorporation

Rectifying metal/poly(3-hexylthiophene) contacts
Synthetic Metals, 1991Abstract Rectifying contacts between poly(3-hexylthiophene) and Indium-Tin oxide or Aluminum have been studied by means of current-voltage measurements and capacitance-voltage measurements. The results show that the current transport through these contacts is not well described by conventional thermionic emission theory.

Charge transport in neutral poly(3-hexylthiophene)
Synthetic Metals, 1993Conductivity relaxation of neutral poly(3-hexylthiophene) is analyzed based on temperature and frequency dependence of its electric conductivity and electric modulus. The frequency dependence of the electric modulus is well fitted by the nonexponential decay function, exp[−(t/τp)β], with fractional exponent β ...
