For a function $g\colon\{0,1\}^m\to\{0,1\}$, a function $f\colon \{0,1\}^n\to\{0,1\}$ is called a $g$-polymorphism if their actions commute: $f(g(\mathsf{row}_1(Z)),\ldots,g(\mathsf{row}_n(Z))) = g(f(\mathsf{col}_1(Z)),\ldots,f(\mathsf{col}_m(Z)))$ for all $Z\in\{0,1\}^{n\times m}$.

PolyMorph: A P300 Polymorphic Speller [PDF]
P300 is an electric signal emitted by brain about 300 milliseconds after a rare, but relevant-for-the-user event. Even if it is hard to identify and it provides a low-rate communication channel, it can be used in cases in which other evoked potentials fail.

A polymorph of terephthalaldehyde [PDF]
A new ortho-rhom-bic polymorph of terephthalaldehyde, C(8)H(6)O(2), with a melting point of 372 K, has been obtained by recrystallization from ethanol. At room temperature, the crystals transform into the well known monoclinic form, with a melting point of 389 K.

Clinical heterogeneity in a family with flail arm syndrome and review of hnRNPA1‐related spectrum
Abstract Objective Flail arm syndrome (FAS) is one of the atypical subtypes of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Mutations in hnRNPA1 encoding heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) A1 are a rare genetic cause of ALS. Herein, marked clinical heterogeneity of FAS in a pedigree with a known hnRNPA1 variant was described to raise early ...

Does long‐term phenytoin have a place in Dravet syndrome?
Abstract Anti‐seizure medications that block sodium channels are generally considered contraindicated in Dravet syndrome. There is, however, considerable debate about the sodium‐channel blocker phenytoin, which is often used for status epilepticus, a frequent feature of Dravet syndrome.

Comparison of the Genetic Alterations between Primary Colorectal Cancers and Their Corresponding Patient-Derived Xenograft Tissues [PDF]
Patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models are useful tools for tumor biology research and testing the efficacy of candidate anticancer drugs targeting the druggable mutations identified in tumor tissue.

Collective Variables for Conformational Polymorphism in Molecular Crystals [PDF]
Controlling polymorphism in molecular crystals is crucial in the pharmaceutical, dye, and pesticide industries. However, its theoretical description is extremely challenging, due to the associated long timescales ($ > 1 \, \mu s$). We present an efficient procedure for identifying collective variables that promote transitions between conformational ...

Polymorphism in cyclohexanol [PDF]
The crystal structures and phase behaviour of phase II and the metastable phases III′ and III of cyclohexanol, C6H11OH, have been determined using high-resolution neutron powder, synchrotron X-ray powder and single-crystal X-ray diffraction techniques.
