Multidecadal area changes of perennial snowpatches in Yosemite National Park, CA, USA

open access: yesArctic, Antarctic, and Alpine Research
Perennial snow and ice features, including both perennial snowpatches and glaciers, play an important role in alpine hydrologic systems, with their melt providing streamflow in years when precipitation and seasonal snowmelt are scarce.

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Lepton-portal Dark Matter in Hidden Valley model and the DAMPE recent results

open access: yes, 2018
We study the recent $e^\pm$ cosmic ray excess reported by DAMPE in a Hidden Valley Model with lepton-portal dark matter. We find the electron-portal can account for the excess well and satisfy the DM relic density and direct detection bounds, while ...

Transcriptional profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles from prebiopsy prostate cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Singular integral operators on tent spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We extend the recent results concerning boundedness of the maximal regularity operator on tent spaces. This leads us to develop a singular integral operator theory on tent spaces. Such operators have operator-valued kernels.
