On positive linear operators

open access: yes, 2019
Approximation theory received much attention in the last century, and an intriguing area in this field is positive linear operators. This thesis is a literature survey on positive linear operators. We discuss some of the well-known examples of positive linear operators.

High order approximation theory for Banach space valued functions

open access: yesJournal of Numerical Analysis and Approximation Theory, 2017
Here we study quantitatively the high degree of approximation of sequences of linear operators acting on Banach space valued di§erentiable functions to the unit operator. These operators are bounded by real positive linear companion operators.

Positive Linear Operators Preserving ? and ?2

open access: yes
In the paper we introduce a general class of linear positive approximation processes defined on bounded and unbounded intervals designed using an appropriate function. Voronovskaya type theorems are given for these new constructions. Some examples including well known operators are presented. © 2019 Selcuk University. All Rights Reserved.

Approximation by positive linear operators

open access: yesJournal of Numerical Analysis and Approximation Theory, 1995
Over the years there have been a few constructions of linear positive polynomial approximation operators which yield the Timan pointwise approximation rate of continuous functions. \textit{J. Cao} and \textit{H. H. Gonska} [Numer. Funct. Anal. Optimization 10, No.
