Preserving positive polynomials and beyond
Following the classical approach of Pólya-Schur theory we initiate in this paper the study of linear operators acting on $\mathbb{R}[x]$ and preserving either the set of positive univariate polynomials or similar sets of non-negative and elliptic polynomials.

Systemic dysregulation of apolipoproteins in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis serum
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal disease that damages motor neurons. This study found that people with ALS show significant changes in blood fats and the proteins that carry them. Several apolipoproteins were higher, lipid balances were altered, and normal protein–lipid relationships were disrupted.

Positivity Preserving Numerical Schemes For Lubrication-Type Equations
. Lubrication equations are fourth order degenerate diffusion equations of the form h t + r \Delta (f(h)r\Deltah) = 0, describing thin films or liquid layers driven by surface tension. Recent studies of singularities in which h ! 0 at a point, describing

Singular perturbations of positivity preserving semigroups via path space techniques
Associated with each standard positivity preserving semigroup is a generalized path space. The Feynman-Kac-Nelson formula on path space combined with hypercontractivity of the semigroup allows the control of highly singular perturbations.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Numerical modeling of three dimensional Brusselator reaction diffusion system
In many mathematical models, positivity is one of the attributes that must be possessed by the continuous systems. For instance, the unknown quantities in the Brusselator reaction-diffusion model represent the concentration of two reactant species.

Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis
Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

The dFoCC pipeline starts with observed DED and resting‐state coordinates, which are then used to generate a library of triggered states. Correlation analysis of the calculated DED features of each candidate vs observed DED permits quantitative evaluation of candidate structural quality.

Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

Positivity preserving interpolation of positive data by cubic trigonometric spline
For smooth and visualizing pleasant curve, we construct a positivity preserving interpolation by using alternative spline that is, cubic trigonometric spline with two shape parameters.
