Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Anthologizing Post-Structuralism: [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
This essay examines the poststructuralist practice of experimental writing in architecture during the 1980s and 1990s. It argues that this practice was a significant mode for investigating the construction of subjectivity. The essay argues that the practice has been frequently misunderstood and marginalised as a feminist or feminine practice by ...

Barthes, Bakhtin, Structuralism: A Reassessment

open access: yes, 2001
PhDThe thesis is a comparative analysis of the shared ideas and concerns in the works of Mikhail Bakhtin and Roland Barthes from the point of view of differences between French and Slavic literary structuralisms.

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

DELEUZE’S CRITIQUE OF REPRESENTATION BETWEEN POST-STRUCTURALISM AND SPECULATIVE REALISM

open access: yesZbornik radova Filozofskog fakulteta u Splitu, 2018
Gilles Deleuze’s thought is uniquely placed at the interface of post-structuralism and the speculative/ontological turn which marked the humanities in general and continental philosophy in particular at the beginning of the twenty-first century.

Poststructural analysis of the role of reader [PDF]

open access: yesZbornik Radova Filozofskog Fakulteta u Prištini, 2019
paper discusses how post-structuralist theory deals with the concept of the reader's aesthetic role in the process of reading literature. The relationship between authors, texts, and readers is regarded as the key-point of theoretical analysis among many

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...
