This study shows that the classical secretory protein S100 calcium‐binding protein A9 (S100A9) can translocate to the nucleus upon de‐phosphorylation at Thr 113 in human amnion fibroblasts at parturition, where S100A9 induces heterochromatin erosion through segregation of the heterochromatin maintenance protein, resulting inLong Interspersed Nuclear ...

Novel carbon‐11 labeled pyrimidine derivatives are developed as PET imaging probes for visualizing sigma‐1 receptors in the brain. [11C]CNY‐01 demonstrates superior brain uptake and binding specificity in both rodents and non‐human primates. The study reveals decreased sigma‐1 receptor expression in Alzheimer's disease, offering a promising tool for ...

Drug‐induced renal damage impairs uric acid excretion, causing its accumulation in the serum, which subsequently infiltrates the cochlea. Xanthine oxidase and the ABCG2 transporter, critical in uric acid metabolism and excretion, undergo pathological changes in renal tubular and cochlear stria vascularis cells.
