Stomatal responses of tree species from the cloud forest in central Veracruz, México
Stomatal conductance is considered as a key plant response because it plays an important role in plant physiology by controlling transpiration (water status) and CO2 assimilation, regulating plant productivity.

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Distributions of model microorganisms along an estuarine gradient [PDF]
Microbial ecology is the younger sub-discipline of ecology, but its scope is clearly immense. Microorganisms’ specificities represent a major hurdle to the application of traditional ecological approaches. Recently, the opportunity to apply ecological

Initial Value Problem of the Toroidal Ion Temperature Gradient Mode [PDF]
"The initial value problem of the toroidal ion temperature gradient mode is studied based on the Laplace transform of the ion gyrokinetic equation and the electron Boltzmann relation with the charge neutrality condition.

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Electrical Potential Gradient Signals Associated with California Earthquakes [PDF]
The purpose of this investigation is to determine whether or not there are any identifiable properties or characteristics in the measurements of the atmospheric electrical potential gradient prior to California earthquakes that could qualify as a ...

On Single Well Forced Gradient Tracer Tests: Implications of Aquifer Physical Heterogeneity and Tracer Behaviour [PDF]
Single well forced gradient tracer tests are a potential cost-effective approach to estimate in situ aquifer contaminant fate and transport parameters for use in natural attenuation assessments and remediation schemes.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.
