Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Asymmetrical outphasing:Exploiting conjugate continuous modes of operation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In conventional techniques for efficiency enhancement of outphasing systems, identical power amplifiers are employed for each branch while the output combining network is optimised using reactive compensating elements.

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Design of highly efficient filtering power amplifier with a wideband response for sub-6 GHz 5G applications

open access: yesResults in Engineering
This paper presents the design of a filtering power amplifier (PA) with extra-high power-efficiency and wide bandwidth. To accomplish this, a novel approach is adopted by utilizing a wideband bandpass filter (BPF) as the output matching network (OMN) for

MOSFET degradation dependence on input signal power in a RF power amplifier [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Aging produced by RF stress is experimentally analyzed on a RF CMOS power amplifier (PA), as a function of the stress power level. The selected circuit topology allows observing individual NMOS and PMOS transistors degradations, as well as the aging ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Tumor‐stromal crosstalk and macrophage enrichment are associated with chemotherapy response in bladder cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Chemoresistance in bladder cancer: Macrophage recruitment associated with CXCL1, CXCL5 and CXCL8 expression is characteristic of Gemcitabine/Cisplatin (Gem/Cis) Non‐Responder tumors (right side) while Responder tumors did not show substantial tumor‐stromal crosstalk (left side). All biological icons are attributed to Bioicons: carcinoma, cancerous‐cell‐

A Digital Predistortion Scheme Exploiting Degrees-of-Freedom for Massive MIMO Systems

open access: yes, 2018
The primary source of nonlinear distortion in wireless transmitters is the power amplifier (PA). Conventional digital predistortion (DPD) schemes use high-order polynomials to accurately approximate and compensate for the nonlinearity of the PA.
