Divertor of the European DEMO: Engineering and technologies for power exhaust
In a power plant scale fusion reactor, a huge amount of thermal power produced by the fusion reaction and external heating must be exhausted through the narrow area of the divertor targets. The targets must withstand the intense bombardment of the diverted particles where high heat fluxes are generated and erosion takes place on the surface.

Divertor shaping with neutral baffling as a solution to the tokamak power exhaust challenge [PDF]
Exhausting power from the hot fusion core to the plasma-facing components is one fusion energy’s biggest challenges. The MAST Upgrade tokamak uniquely integrates strong containment of neutrals within the exhaust area (divertor) with extreme divertor ...

Power exhaust scenarios for EU-DEMO
We present an analysis of possible power exhaust scenarios for EU-DEMO. We employ the SOLPS-ITER code with the newly developed advanced fluid neutral model to scan a relatively wide range of neutral pressure divertor and impurity concentration in the ...

Power exhaust in tokamaks and scenario integration issues [PDF]
Abstract A review of the main concepts, proposed solutions and results of R&D as well as outstanding issues on power exhaust in tokamaks is presented with specific emphasis on the expected issues that need to be resolved for ITER and future fusion reactors such as DEMO for both conventional and advanced divertor concepts.

An Exhaustive Power Comparison of Normality Tests [PDF]
A goodness-of-fit test is a frequently used modern statistics tool. However, it is still unclear what the most reliable approach is to check assumptions about data set normality. A particular data set (especially with a small number of observations) only partly describes the process, which leaves many options for the interpretation of its true ...

Transient Flow Evolution of a Hypersonic Inlet/Isolator with Incoming Windshear
In this paper, a novel flow perturbation model meant to investigate the effects of incoming wind shear on a hypersonic inlet/isolator is presented. This research focuses on the transient shock/boundary layer interaction and shock train flow evolution in ...

Abstract: In this project, we modify a stationary diesel engine for producing power using turbine. Nowadays in automobile field many new innovating concepts are being developed. We are using the power from vehicle exhaust to generate the electricity which can be stored in battery for the later consumption.
