A Power Transistor Active Gate Driver With Two-Level Miller Plateau Detection and Driving Device Equalization Using 180-nm HV BCD Process

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Circuits and Systems
The configuration of the active gate driver (AGD) significantly impacts how well power semiconductor devices work and how efficient they are. This research presents a new AGD single chip design that identifies the Miller plateau when the signal is ...

Sharp Switching by Field-Effect Bandgap Modulation in All-Graphene Side-Gate Transistors

open access: yesIEEE Journal of the Electron Devices Society, 2015
Graphene is a 2-D electronic material that has drawn intensive interest due to its high carrier mobility, film flexibility, and tunable bandgap. The unique bandgap modulation by the transverse electrical field in the graphene nanoribbon (GNR) offers new ...

Fiber-coupled Antennas for Ultrafast Coherent Terahertz Spectroscopy in Low Temperatures and High Magnetic Fields [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
For the purposes of measuring the high-frequency complex conductivity of correlated-electron materials at low temperatures and high magnetic fields, a method is introduced for performing coherent time-domain terahertz spectroscopy directly in the ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Power-Clock-Gating in adiabatischen Logikschaltungen [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in Radio Science, 2006

Tunable nano Peltier cooling device from geometric effects using a single graphene nanoribbon

open access: yes, 2012
Based on the phenomenon of curvature-induced doping in graphene we propose a class of Peltier cooling devices, produced by geometrical effects, without gating.

Iterative approach to arbitrary nonlinear optical response functions of graphene [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Two-dimensional materials constitute an exciting platform for nonlinear optics with large nonlinearities that are tunable by gating. Hence, gate-tunable harmonic generation and intensity-dependent refraction have been observed in e.g.

Dammarenediol II enhances etoposide‐induced apoptosis by targeting O‐GlcNAc transferase and Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling in liver cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

The role of conformational diffusion in ion channel gating

open access: yes, 2003
We consider an exactly tractable model of the Kramers type for the voltage-dependent gating dynamics of single ion channels. It is assumed that the gating dynamics is caused by the thermally activated transitions in a bistable potential.
