TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

On the Global Practical Exponential Stability of h-Manifolds for Impulsive Reaction–Diffusion Cohen–Grossberg Neural Networks with Time-Varying Delays

open access: yesEntropy
In this paper, we focus on h-manifolds related to impulsive reaction–diffusion Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with time-varying delays. By constructing a new Lyapunov-type function and a comparison principle, sufficient conditions that guarantee the ...

Practical and asymptotic stability of fractional discrete-time scalar systems described by a new model

open access: yesArchives of Control Sciences, 2016
The stability problems of fractional discrete-time linear scalar systems described by the new model are considered. Using the classical D-partition method, the necessary and sufficient conditions for practical stability and asymptotic stability are given.

Practical Input-to-State Stability of Nonlinear Systems with Time Delay

open access: yesComplexity, 2023
An investigation of the input-to-state practical stability (ISpS) and the integral input-to-state practical stability (iISpS) of nonlinear systems with time delays (NSWTDs) is presented in this paper.

Robust Stability of Iterative Learning Control Schemes

open access: yes, 2007
A notion of robust stability is developed for iterative learning control in the context of disturbance attenuation. The size of the unmodelled dynamics is captured via a gap distance, which in turn is related to the standard H2 gap metric, and the ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Strong practical stability based robust stabilization of uncertain discrete linear repetitive processes

open access: yes, 2013
Repetitive processes are a distinct class of 2D systems of both theoretical and practical interest whose dynamics evolve over a subset of the positive quadrant in the 2D plane. The stability theory for these processes originally consisted of two distinct

Practical stability of differential equations with non-instantaneous impulses

open access: yes, 2017
The concept of practical stability is generalized to nonlinear differential equations with non-instantaneous impulses. These type of impulses start their action abruptly at some points and then continue on given finite intervals.
