Pragma-dialectics and Beyond

Argumentation, 2003
Pragma-dialectics is dynamic, context-sensitive, and multi-agent; it promises theories of fallacy and argumentative structure. But pragma-dialectic theory and practice are not yet fully in harmony. Key definitions of the theory fall short of explicating the analyses that pragma-dialecticians actually do.

Pragma-Dialectics and Pragma-Dialectics

2011
The hypothesis of this chapter is that the Pragma-Dialectical theory is one particular version—the Amsterdam version—of a general pragma-dialectical type of theory. It is thus possible to accept the general theory without accepting every feature of the specific instance of that theory, but not conversely.

On questions in standard pragma-dialectics

Quadripartita Ratio, 2021

Such an integrated approach makes it possible to show how the opportunities available in each of the dialectical ...

In the pragma-dialectical approach of argumentation that is here explained, the theoretical tools have been ...
