Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Development of Small-Scale and Low-Power Attitude Determination System for Nanoscale Satellites by Infrared Earth-Imaging Sensors [PDF]
Many space missions require that the spacecraft be oriented in a specific direction to operate correctly. ARKSAT 1, the University of Arkansas’s first satellite, is a 1U CubeSat designed to perform atmospheric spectroscopy from Low-Earth Orbit and as ...

The HARPS search for southern extra-solar planets I. HD330075 b: a new 'hot Jupiter'
We report on the first extra-solar planet discovered with the brand new HARPS instrument. The planet is a typical 'hot Jupiter' with m2sini = 0.62 MJup and an orbital period of 3.39 days, but from the photometric follow-up of its parent star HD330075 we ...

Probing the Flyby Anomaly with the future STE-QUEST mission
In this study, we demonstrate that the flyby anomaly, an unexpected acceleration detected in some of the gravitational assists of the Galileo, NEAR, Cassini and Rosetta spacecraft, could be probed by accurate orbital tracking available in the proposed ...

ZFAS1 is a lncRNA promoting cell proliferation and migration, exhibiting high expression in various cancers. It is conserved, widely expressed, and produces multiple splice variants with unclear roles. We identified several splice variants in hepatocyte models, and found that inhibiting or suppressing regulators of the unfolded protein response (PERK ...
