Local Polynomial Regression and Filtering for a Versatile Mesh‐Free PDE Solver

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Fluids, EarlyView.
A high‐order, mesh‐free finite difference method for solving differential equations is presented. Both derivative approximation and scheme stabilisation is carried out by parametric or non‐parametric local polynomial regression, making the resulting numerical method accurate, simple and versatile. Numerous numerical benchmark tests are investigated for

A second-level diagonal preconditioner for single-step SNPBLUP

open access: yesGenetics Selection Evolution, 2019
Background The preconditioned conjugate gradient (PCG) method is an iterative solver of linear equations systems commonly used in animal breeding. However, the PCG method has been shown to encounter convergence issues when applied to single-step single ...

Fast Calculation for the Flow and Heat Transfer of Tempered Fractional Maxwell Viscoelastic Fluid

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Fluids, EarlyView.
This study develops a tempered fractional Maxwell model to simulate unsteady thermal flow in viscoelastic fluids, capturing key rheological behaviors. A fast SOE‐based algorithm is proposed to improve the computational efficiency of the numerical scheme. Results reveal how key parameters influence fluid motion and heat transfer, demonstrating the model'

Ginseng polysaccharides prevent mastitis through Lactobacillus murinus‐derived deoxycholic acid and TGR5 signaling

open access: yesiMetaOmics, EarlyView.
Prebiotic Ginseng polysaccharides (GP) alleviate mastitis through selective enrichment of gut L. murinus, which elevates its anti‐inflammatory metabolite deoxycholic acid (DCA). Circulating DCA engages mammary epithelial TGR5 receptors, triggering the cAMP–PKA pathway to suppress NF‐κB/NLRP3‐mediated inflammation.

Nonsymmetric multigrid preconditioning for conjugate gradient methods

open access: yes, 2012
We numerically analyze the possibility of turning off post-smoothing (relaxation) in geometric multigrid when used as a preconditioner in conjugate gradient linear and eigenvalue solvers for the 3D Laplacian. The geometric Semicoarsening Multigrid (SMG) method is provided by the hypre parallel software package.
