Identification and validation of DPP4 in predicting the prognosis of clear cell RCC
Dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP4) has been implicated in tumor progression, yet its role in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (KIRC) remains poorly understood. This study aimed to comprehensively investigate the expression profile, prognostic significance, and

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

Tumor-suppressive role of miR-216b impacts cell cycle regulation in high-grade glioma
High-grade gliomas (HGGs) are the most aggressive adult brain tumors, with a dismal median survival of approximately 15 months, highlighting the need for novel therapeutic strategies.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

PO087 | BEYOND POSITIVITY: THE HIERARCHICAL ROLE OF IMMUNOASSAYS IN HEPARIN INDUCED THROMBOCYTOPENIA
Background and aims. Heparin induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) is an immune mediated disorder induced by the exposure to heparin with subsequent production of antibodies against heparin-platelet factor 4 (H-PF4) complexes. The diagnosis of HIT is based on a

Background: Radiotherapy in the head-and-neck area is one of the main curative treatment options. However, this comes at the cost of varying levels of normal tissue toxicity, affecting up to 80% of patients. Mucositis can cause pain, weight loss and treatment delay leading to worse outcomes and decreased quality of life.

Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Matched spatial transcriptomics and single‐nuclei RNA‐seq were generated for anaplastic and BRAFV600E papillary thyroid cancers revealing generic and tumor‐specific states occurring in cancer cells and in the tumor microenvironment. In this context, cancer dedifferentiation mirrored organoid maturation through ordered thyroid marker gain/loss ...
