Pressure-dependent 13C chemical shifts in proteins: Origins and applications [PDF]
Pressure-dependent (13)C chemical shifts have been measured for aliphatic carbons in barnase and Protein G. Up to 200 MPa (2 kbar), most shift changes are linear, demonstrating pressure-independent compressibilities.

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

This paper presents a study on the effects of pressure angle on tooth deflection and root stress. The analyses of tooth deflection and bending moment at root fillet due to a concentrated load on a gear tooth with various pressure angles were carried out by the finite difference method (FDM) and the results were compared with those measured.
