Differential modulation of pressure pain threshold in response to transcutaneous spinal direct current stimulation with physical activity level

Neuroscience Letters, 2019
This study investigated the interaction between physical activity level and responses to transcutaneous spinal direct current stimulation (tsDCS) as reflected in changes in pressure pain threshold (PPT) in the lower extremity. Participants (n = 35, 15 males) consisted of physically active young adults.

A newly designed nerve monitor for microneurosurgery: Bipolar constant current nerve stimulator and movement detector with a pressure sensor

Acta Neurochirurgica, 1993
The authors describe a newly designed nerve monitor which is useful for numerous microneurosurgical procedures. Standard bipolar forceps are used to apply constant current stimulation. Muscle contraction evoked by the stimulation is detected by a small disc-shaped pressure sensor taped to the overlying skin.

Enhancing pressurized esports performance: a pilot study on the combined effects of transcranial direct current stimulation and arousal reappraisal

Anxiety, Stress, & Coping
This pilot study explored the combined impact of arousal reappraisal intervention and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) targeting the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (PFC) on state anxiety, challenge and threat appraisals, and performance under high pressure in esport contexts.

Seismic LCAI Coupling Supported by Pressure Stimulated Rock Current: Multi-parameter Observations and Numerical Simulation

Multiple parameters anomalies appeared before medium-strong earthquakes have long been observed and analyzed. The spatio-temporal relations of multiple anomalies were attributed to the coupling of lithosphere, coversphere, atmosphere and ionosphere (LCAI in brief) related with the seismogenious activity and final shocking.
