This study shows that copy number variations (CNVs) can be reliably detected in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded (FFPE) solid cancer samples using ultra‐low‐pass whole‐genome sequencing, provided that key (pre)‐analytical parameters are optimized.

Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

A New Characterization of Projective Special Unitary Groups PSU3(3n)
One of an important problems in finite groups theory, is characterization of groups by specific property. However, in the way the researchers, proved that some of groups by properties such as, elements order, set of elements with same order, graphs, . . .

The prime element theorem in additive arithmetic semigroups. I
The author continues his investigations on prime element theorems in additive semigroups which he started in part I [Ill. J. Math. 40, 245-280 (1996; Zbl 0863.11065)]. The main purpose is to prove stronger estimates of the remainder terms, i.e. instead of \(o(1)\)-type now more explicitly some \(O(1)\)-type.

Correlation of the differential expression of PIK3R1 and its spliced variant, p55α, in pan‐cancer
PIK3R1 undergoes alternative splicing to generate the isoforms, p85α and p55α. By combining large patient datasets with laboratory experiments, we show that PIK3R1 spliced variants shape cancer behavior. While tumors lose the protective p85α isoform, p55α is overexpressed, changes linked to poorer survival and more pronounced in African American ...

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

Properties of ϕ-Primal Graded Ideals
Let R be a commutative graded ring with unity 1≠0. A proper graded ideal of R is a graded ideal I of R such that I≠R. Let ϕ:I(R)→I(R)∪{∅} be any function, where I(R) denotes the set of all proper graded ideals of R.
