Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

PRIME LABELING OF AMALGAMATION OF FLOWER GRAPHS

open access: yesBarekeng
Graph labeling is the assigning of labels represented by integers or symbols to graph elements, edges and/or vertices (or both) of a graph. Consider a simple graph  with a vertex-set  and an edge-set .

On the infinitude of prime elements

open access: yes, 2013
Summary: Let \(R\) be an infinite unique factorization domain with at most finitely many units. We discuss the infinitude of prime elements in \(R\) when \(R\) is arbitrary and when \(R\) satisfies the following property: if \(f\) and \(g\) are polynomials with coefficients in \(R\) such that \(f(r)\) divides \(g(r)\) for all \(r \in R\) with \(f(r ...

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

On Weakly S-Prime Elements of Lattices

open access: yesJournal of the Indonesian Mathematical Society
Let £ be a bounded distributive lattice and S a join-subset of £. In this paper, we introduce the concept of S-prime elements (resp. weakly S-prime elements) of £. Let p be an element of £ with S ∧p = 0 (i.e. s∧p = 0 for all s ∈ S). We say that p is an S-prime element (resp.

Therapeutic strategies for MMAE‐resistant bladder cancer through DPP4 inhibition

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We established monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE)‐resistant bladder cancer (BC) cell lines by exposure to progressively increasing concentrations of MMAE in vitro. RNA sequencing showed DPP4 expression was increased in MMAE‐resistant BC cells. Both si‐DPP4 and the DPP4 inhibitor sitagliptin suppressed the viability of MMAE‐resistant BC cells.

A Fast and Robust DOA Estimation Method Based on JSVD for Co-Prime Array

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
Compared with the uniform linear array, the co-prime array can obtain a large array aperture with fewer array elements, which is good to improve the accuracy of direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation.

A very important process of nucleosynthesis in stars [PDF]

open access: yes
When some nuclei are free from strong gravitational field, they are unstable and will become stable nuclei by competitions of following processes: (1) neutron-evaporation; (2) spontaneous fission; and (3) beta prime 3-decay. At the initial stage, (1) and

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve
