On The Ideals of a Lie Ring of Derivations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
[[abstract]]Let R be a commutative ring, and D a Lie subring and an R-submodule of Der(R) such that R is D-semiprime (or D-prime). We investigate the structure of the ideals of D as Lie rings.

Integral ring extensions and prime ideals of infinite rank [PDF]

open access: yes, 1971
An example is constructed showing that for an integral ring extension R ⊂ T R \subset T , and a prime ideal P P of R R having infinite rank, it can happen that in T

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Derivations on Right Ideals of Prime Rings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
[[abstract]]Let R be a prime ring of characteristic different from 2, d a non-zero derivation of R and I a non-zero right ideal of R such that [d(x)xn, d(y)] = 0, for all x, y 2 I.

On the Structure of Semiderivations in Prime Rings [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1990
Let R R be a prime ring. By a semiderivation associated with a function

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

On the algebraic classification of K-local spectra [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
In 1996, Jens Franke proved the equivalence of certain triangulated categories possessing an Adams spectral sequence. One particular application of this theorem is that the K(p)-local stable homotopy category at an odd prime can be described as the ...

On z-Ideals and z ◦ -Ideals of Power Series Rings

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Extension, 2013
Let R be a commutative ring with identity and R[[x]] be the ring of formal power series with coefficients in R. In this article we consider sufficient conditions in order that P[[x]] is a minimal prime ideal of R[[x]] for every minimal prime ideal P ...

On V-rings and prime rings

open access: yesJournal of Algebra, 1980
In this note, we find similar characteristic properties in terms of certain intersections of maximal left ideals for the following classes of rings: (1) Left V-rings; (2) Left f-V-rings; (3) Left p-V-rings. The well-known characterisation of v-rings due to Villamayor is weakened.

Clinical performance of the urine‐based TERT promoter AbsoluteQ Digital PCR for non‐invasive detection of bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.
