Examples of Fully Prime Rings (Group, Ring, Language and Related Areas in Computer Science)

open access: yes, 2023
The talk was in part supported by the RIMS, a Joint Usage/Research Center located in Kyoto University.A ring R (possibly without identity) in which every ideal is prime (i.e.

On commutativity of sigma-prime rings

open access: yesGlasnik Matematicki, 2006
If \(R\) is a ring with center \(Z\) and \(\sigma\) is an involution on \(R\), then \(R\) is called \(\sigma\)-prime if \(aRb=aR\sigma(b)=0\) implies \(a=0\) or \(b=0\). An ideal \(I\) of \(R\) is called a \(\sigma\)-ideal if \(\sigma(I)\subseteq I\), and a Lie ideal \(L\) is called \(\sigma\)-square closed if \(\sigma(L)\subseteq L\) and \(x^2\in L ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

On the Annihilators of Derivations with Engel Conditions in Prime Rings

open access: yes, 2012
[[abstract]]Let R be a prime ring of char R 6= 2, d a non-zero derivation of R, 0 6= b 2 R and a non-zero right ideal of R such that b[[d(x); x]n; [y; d(y)]m] = 0 for all x; y 2 , where n;m 0 are xed integers.

The prime ideal structure of the Minkowski ring of polytopes

open access: yes, 1992
We examine the subrings of the Minkowski ring which are generated by finitely many polytopes. Such a ring is the homomorphic image of the ring of polynomials in a finite number of variables with coefficients in Z.

Clinical performance of the urine‐based TERT promoter AbsoluteQ Digital PCR for non‐invasive detection of bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

Prime ideals and sheaf representation of a pseudo symmetric ring

open access: yes, 1973
Almost symmetric rings and pseudo symmetric rings are introduced. The classes of symmetric rings, of almost symmetric rings, and of pseudo symmetric rings are in a strictly increasing order.

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.
