Rings of invariants of finite groups when the bad primes exist [PDF]
Let R be a ring (not necessarily with 1) and G be a finite group of automorphisms of R. The set B(R, G) of primes p such that p | |G| and R is not p-torsion free, is called the set of bad primes. When the ring is |G|-torsion free, i.e., B(R, G) is empty set, the properties of the rings R and R^G are closely connected.

Identification of inhibitors of the Salmonella FraB deglycase, a drug target
A high‐throughput screen was used to identify inhibitors of Salmonella FraB, a drug target. Characterization of top hits (identified after an additional counter screen) revealed that some triazolidines, thiadiazolidines, and triazolothiadiazoles are mixed‐type inhibitors of FraB.

Approximaitly Semi-Prime Submodules and Some Related Concepts
We introduce in this paper the concept of approximaitly semi-prime submodules of unitary left -module over a commutative ring with identity as a generalization of a prime submodules and semi-prime submodules, also generalization of quasi-prime ...

On the Structure of Semiderivations in Prime Rings [PDF]
Let R R be a prime ring. By a semiderivation associated with a function g : R → R g:R \to R , we mean an additive mapping f : R → R f:R \to R such that, for all x , y ∈ R , f

Approximately Prime Rings and Prime Ideals [PDF]
This article focuses on approximately prime rings and approximately prime ideals in proximal relator spaces, especially in descriptive proximity spaces. In particular, we define some binary operations, including the product of two approximately prime ideals and the direct product of approximately prime rings, and study the approximately principle prime

We investigated a potential protective effect of acacetin, a naturally occurring flavonoid, against methylglyoxal (MGO)‐induced endothelial dysfunction in human umbilical vein endothelial cells and its mechanism of action. Acacetin can could inhibit MGO‐induced intracellular calcium ion influx, enhance the expression levels of phosphorylated ...

SLC7A11 frequently migrates faster in SDS‐PAGE. The present study found that the high hydrophobicity of SLC7A11 causes its anomalous migration in SDS‐PAGE with a low concentration of acrylamide gel. Replacing isoleucine with asparagine reduced hydrophobicity and restored its normal migration at 55 kDa, revealing the role of hydrophobicity and gel ...

The Conversion of 5,5′-Bi(1,2,3-dithiazolylidenes) into Isothiazolo[5,4-d]isothiazoles
Thermolysis of 4,4′-dichloro-, 4,4′-diaryl-, and 4,4′-di(thien-2-yl)-5,5′-bi(1,2,3-dithiazol-ylidenes) affords the respective 3,6-dichloro-, 3,6-diaryl- and 3,6-di(thien-2-yl)isothiazolo[5,4-d]-isothiazoles in low to high yields ...

Endomorphism rings of modules over prime rings [PDF]
Endomorphism rings of modules appear as the center of a ring, as the fix ring of ring with group action or as the subring of constants of a derivation. This note discusses the question whether certain *-prime modules (introduced by Bican et al.) have a prime endomorphism ring.
